A to do list up to 12 months before your wedding day

12 months prior

  • Make sure that your lifestyle is right by eating healthily and exercising regularly.  A healthy body means healthy hair and skin.
  • Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Shopping, shopping, shopping!!  This is where you get to shop for all different kinds of things i.e. veils, tiaras, headpieces, gowns, jewellery (we can help you with all your jewellery requirements) so enjoy!
  • Start shopping around for photographers, florists, caterer, wedding cake suppliers etc.

6 months prior

  • Arrange for passports (if necessary).
  • Plan your buck/hen's night.
  • Arrange your bridal shower guest lists.
  • Make an appointment with your doctor and dentist for a full check-up.
  • Commence a skin care regime.  We would love to help you have glowing skin on your wedding day.  Please contact us for an appointment. 
  • Start having regular facials.  So you can sit back, relax which we transport you to another place whilst giving you a relaxing facial.  In this respect, please note that we come to you!  
  • If you're planning on having long nails - start growing them now. 

3 months prior

  • Check the availability of any hair or make-up artist that you are interested in.  More often than not, make-up artists and hair stylists are booked years in advance so the earlier the better.
  • Organise your Hen's party.  We are able to assist in this area providing Hen's parties with a difference - funky make-up parties, facial parties, jewellery parties etc the possibilities are endless! 

1 month prior

  • Arrange your make-up and hair trials.
  • Organise your marriage licence (30 days before wedding)

1 week

  • Arrange to have any waxing that you would like done.  This gives your skin a chance to rest and for any redness to calm down before your big day.
  • Final fitting for your wedding gown.  Make sure it fits correctly and that it's pressed.
  • Pay all bills before you go on your honeymoon.
  • Construct an emergency kit for your wedding day.  This could consist of safety pins, needle & thread, tissues and scissors. 

1 day

  • Complete your honeymoon packing.
  • If your budget permits, pamper yourself with a luxurious relaxing massage to get rid of any anxiety or stress before your wedding day.

Night before

  • Organise your honeymoon bag.
  • Get plenty of sleep!

On the Day

  • Relax and enjoy the rewards of many months of preparation - remember - it's your day!
